The Department FWD "Research and Investment Programs, Scientific Services" is responsible for strategic controlling and quality management, public relations and the management of the institute's publishing activities as well as the research administration.
The Department FWD currently consists of the following divisions:
- Division FWD 1 "General regulations, contract and grant management"
- Division FWD 2 "Project development and support – research programs"
- Division FWD 3 "Project development and support – investment programs"
- Division FWD 4 "Knowledge management, library"
- Division FWD 5 "Project development and support Sports, Youth, Culture"
