The VASAB international spatial planning network calls on young planners from the Baltic Sea Region to participate in the Summer School at the University of Greifswald.
The Summer School will take place from 22 to 26 August 2022 under the title "Sustainable Futures for the Baltic Sea Region". It is aimed at both students and young professionals who will formulate their ideas for the future development of the Baltic Sea Region from the perspective of spatial and urban planning. A jury will award the best works. The award-winning teams will be able to present their work results at a high-level conference of the Baltic Sea countries in spring 2023.
The call is aimed at those aged up to 35 years who study or work in Germany, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, Denmark or Norway.

The authorities of the Baltic Sea countries responsible for spatial planning and development work together in the VASAB – VISION AND STRATEGIES AROUND THE BALTIC SEA network with the aim of jointly shaping spatial development in the Region. The Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building and the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development are funding the Summer School as German partners.
